About Susanne

My path into leadership and executive management positions starting almost 30 years ago was actually quite straightforward: I wanted to make a big difference in the world and knew that in order to do that I had to find people who wanted the same as me. My most important values are freedom, compassion and community, and I wanted to work on these premises.
Before I chose to say goodbye to my permanent job as a senior executive in the private sector a few years ago, I had been leading teams for 25 years. The last almost 15 years I was first leading Nestlé's communication and marketing efforts in the Nordic region and then a 200mEUR business back to growth on all parameters.
There were always lots of challenges - from crisis management and turnaround to the COVID pandemic, change and culture work - and we always solved all challenges together. We did it by staying focused, standing together and supporting each other - and we performed the best when we were strongly interconnected across the organisation, characterized by high levels of trust, transparency and teamwork.
When I coach and guide leaders today, we also cover vision and values: how should it feel to go to work? What do you want to be known for as a leader – and recognized for? And how do you lead with care, clarity and compassion?
Not everyone has had time to delve into these topics in depth, and my experience tells me that this is the reason why coaching and mentoring can make such a huge difference: looking at these topics and finding your own answers as a leader is the way to joy and meaning – and even happiness – at work!
When I start coaching new clients, our first dialogue is always free and non-binding. The sole purpose is for us to meet and ensure that full openness and trust is present.
